Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso

I cannot get the heater nor the fan to work in my car. This causes problems of misting as well as being very cold in this weather.

Could be the heater resistor pack or the motor itself knackered .This explains ,

" This is a common problem on picassos and you'll find it on the drivers side at the top of the dash fitted into the heater intake to keep it cool. You can reach it without taking the dash out. There is a portion of the dash that can be removed under the steering wheel try getting to it from there. It's a fairly easy job to do. However sometimes you might find the harness connector is also melted and you may end up having to repair or replace the loom.

sounds like fan resistor faulty and possibly connector burnt out. check fuse first though.
