2006 Citroen Xsara Picasso i need a new auxiliary belt , but the ones being supplied are different to the original one .ie the toothed profile on mine is like saw teeth ,pointed ribs, the ones being supplied are more castellated ,square ribs,

If you are getting the belts from else where , go to dealership parts dept . with vin and they should supply correct belt

thx for your reply ,dealership couldnt confirm profile of belt and also wanted 45 quid exc vat

Hard to say and always expensive from dealership . May have been superseded over the years . If fitting in pulley grooves o.k could try the cheaper one and recheck tension after running for a week or so when it has bedded in ?
