2006 Citroen Xsara Picasso hi i have a 06 citroen picasso diesel starts great then if i stop at a shop switch off come back 5 mind car will not start turn over but no start temp goes up in red then drops back down car starts after 20 min can any one help

Starts fist thing till I stop at a shop come out 10 mind car will not start turns over no start temp shoots up then back down car will start again after 20 mind

You will need to see if actually overheating or just a false reading . If not overheating and no coolant lost , may just be coolant temp sensor . Not starting when hot could be crankshaft sensor .
