2009 Citroen Xsara Picasso side light failure h&s issue

Side lights failed, while driving in the evening. No warning lights on dashboard. All other lights function properly. Headlights visible on the road, but totally unaware that the rear of the car was in total darkness, except when braking or indicating.
Side lights are the only lights that do not operate through a fuse board on this model. They are controlled by the BSI unit.
I need to get the BSI unit fixed. I need a company who can take the BSI unit, analyse the faults and rectify them, whilst it is out of the car.
