Starting

2001 Citroen Xsara Picasso HDI 2.0
Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso
Year: 2001
Variant: HDI 2.0
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Sometimes when I come to start the car all the electrics come on but no start, then other times it does the same, no start but on the display it comes up with "fault, electric Immobilizer"
I've tried waggling the key, messing with different electric buttons, windows but doesn't start, then out of the blue it starts, sometime's after 5 minutes, other times it's took 20 minutes to start
I've took it to a garage and they've done a diagnostic's check and found nothing but they've said they will only be able to find the "electric Immobilizer fault when it happens

Disconnect the injection ecu and check for corrosion at the ecu pins
