While driving on holiday engine fault came on and misfiring juddering started

Managed to get to holiday destination about 120 miles from home, took car to local garage, diagnostic result show faulty valve, mechanic said approx. £800 to repair but could try and drive it home?Although car is around 10 years old its only done a genuine 32,000 miles, I bought it on the fact it was low mileage, should this be happening to such a low mileage engine, have I got any justification to complain to Citroen, I have had car approx. two and a half years, get it serviced regularly, mileage was 15,000 when I bought it.

In my opinion , absolutely no chance of getting any claim against Citroen or any other manufacturer with a vehicle of that age , despite low mileage .
