Brake lights on constantly
Oct 2, 2016 (3 years ago)
The brake lights come on when I change gear .. and then stay on constantly .. Also the engine warning light comes on and the car loses power I think it may have something to do with the brake pedal / sensor... I have taken the car to three Citroen Garages but all have said that they have never heard of the fault but suggest that I replace the pedal box

If there is wear at pedal carrier and the brake switch is non adjustable it needs fixed or replaced .You need to get it scanned to see what codes are showing .

I have known of a similar fault on a Peugeot which turned out to be the BUILT IN SYSTEMS INTERFACE or Bsi for short I imagine you have cruise control.
