2004 Citroen Xsara Picasso engine cuts out when starting from cold

hi, wrote in november with this problem, car starts 1st time from cold but then cuts out 4/5 times, runs alright but engine sometimes speeds up in slow moving traffic.1/4 drive suggested temp gauge sensor, that didnt cure it, but it did solve the problem of the gauge itsself not going up to the max. thanks to him for that, hope he can come up with another suggestion

It was probably the engine coolant temp sensor he suggested , not temp gauge sensor .

I suggest you get your spark or glowplugs examined
