Vibration

2006 Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 Hdi
Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.6 Hdi
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
Citroen has a smooth vibration when revving in gear. This would happen in gear 3 doing roughly 27-35mph. Does it in ever gear that was just an example. Recently had cambelt kit done. Also airbox grommets replaced. Doesn't happen when stationary or when I'm not in gear. Doesn't seemed to be linked to temperature.

Could check engine / trans. mountings but dual mass flywheel and clutch faults are common on 1.6 HDIs from 2004 onwards.

If I cant pin down where a noise is coming from I usually remove the alternator drive belt and start it up.
If the noise disappears it's obviously belt related,
