2000 Citroen Xsara Picasso fitted new ignition barrel now will not start

Not much information here!
So guessing you didn't keep the cars original sensor ring,
or did!
Anywhoo,
chip/key
the car key has a chip in it which has to be recognised by the sensor/bsi.
Guessing you changed the ignition barrel and key so now the cars computer doesn't match the chip in the key.but here's a trick/test,
tape the original key to the outside of the sensor ring and try to start it.
