hi my radio has turned on its auto volume and it wont let me turn if off, it just turns up the volume so its on full any ideas the handbook says consult your dealer. thank you

Not sure if this applies to your car or not ,
" You can turn off the 'auto volume increase' function. It should be an option in the list of Bass, Treble, Loudness on/off and then Auto volume adjust on/off.
Try turning it off and see if it makes a difference.
Another thing it might be are TA (traffic anouncements). The volume of these can be set high so try turning TA to off."
