I HAD A WARNING ON MY DASH LAST NIGHT TO CHECK WATER LEVEL. TOPPED UP WITH WATER, STARTED CAR FINE HALF WAY DOWN THE ROAD WARNING COMES UP AGAIN AND VERY LOUD NOISE AS IF THE CAR WAS OVERHEATING! WATER WAS GUSHING OUT THE SIDE OF THE ENGINE NEAR THE TIMING BELT!
ANY IDEAS? WATER PUMP??

Sounds like water pump leaking , get it checked out ASAP .
