2001 Citroen Xsara Picasso heater only blowing hot

Hi all my first post on here,i have a xsara picasso 1.8 sx and my heating /air con will only blow hot,dont think its a re-gas problem. when you turn the temp control nothing changes is there somesort of connection from the switch which may have come adrift in the bowels of the dash.
