Baffled by blower.

2000 Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6i sx manual
Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso
Year: 2000
Variant: 1.6i sx manual
Categories: Leaks & Noises
The heater/blower in the car doesnt work. Its NOT the motor as that was linked to direct current to test and it works. All the fuses, inside and out have been checked. Its all fine. All the cables between the motor and fuse box appear ok but there is still ZERO power going through to the motor and unless there is an in-line fuse that i cant find im clueless as to what it can now be. Any advice please???

Are you getting power from your switch to the motor and to your resistor unit.

The heater doesnt work on any setting, in my experience the resister causes it to only work on one setting?? If i pull the plug/switch out of the motor and test for any current-there isnt any. Yet the fuses and the control settings appear to be fine.

I would still expect it is the Resistor. I had a Xsara a few year's ago and there were two Resistor's that were connected to the Motor. In the Xsara I dropped the Motor down and out of its position by removing the Glove Box first and it was a relatively easy un-solder and solder job once the replacements had been sourced.
