2000 Citroen Xsara Picasso battery light on wipers/indicators not working

Had a new battery fitted 2 weeks ago. Today, battery light stayed on & wipers/indicators not working. Any ideas how to rectify this please?

Check alternator output , looks like it's not charging .

Thank you for the reply.....everything else is working OK though & it starts OK, would it just be the wipers & indicators that are affected? I have no idea, so any advice much appreciated.

Checked fuses ?

Yes, have checked the fuses. Apparently the display also says I haven't done any miles either. :o

If not fuse , could be indicator / wiper stalk .

They are on opposite sides, plus battery light still on?

Could check wiring / plug at alternator but really got to test with meter to see if charging if fuses are o.k .

Some models have two fuse boxes , one in cabin and one in engine compartment .

What was the solution to this please?
My mother has exactly this problem with her Xsara Picasso, including the display showing zero miles!
She had a new indicator/wiper stalk fitted in the last 6 months.
It seems to have developed from a cutting out problem.
