Knocking from n/s rear axle when loaded with passengers and luggage. Normal load no knocking, put into garage to check and told it wouldnt get any worse but would need new/recon axle to rectify problem. Would this be an MOT failure?

It would depend if there was any play felt at the wheel ,wether it was just an advise or pass.
