Knock on start up from engine

2005 Citroen Xsara Picasso 5 door
Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso
Year: 2005
Variant: 5 door
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Engine knocks on start up.
Suspect the lower rear engine mounting. Top engine mounting on the right-hand side looks as the engine is tilted towards the rear of the car. Can the lower mounting be replaced in postion or does the mounting assembly require removing to replace the mounting rubber.

i dont think you could remove bush with bracket on engine you would more than likely damage the alloy housing dare say there is a tool for doing it but if it is worn you are going to have to remove o/s drive shaft fixing bolt to bush (make sure bolt not been loose and worn)then remove bracket from engine at this point better to take bracket and new bush to engineering shop to get bush pressed out and new pressed in then re-assemble but before doing all this work might be better if can put car on a ramp and check for movement while some one starts and stops engine to make sure it is bush at fault
