2001 Citroen Xsara Picasso car cutting out

When driving the steering lock comes on. Engine still running but unable to turn steering wheel. Have to switch ignition off and back on again which fixes it. No problems with starting engine. Have had it connected to diagnostic twice but no faults showing up. Has also cut out a couple of times when slowing at junctions

could be due to a faulty ignition switch, get it tested by an auto electrician.
