Hi
The problem sounds like your thermostat is faulty. These are a item that when they fail have to be replaced. The job of the thermostat is to seal the cooling system from the rest of the car when you first run the engine to bring the engine to working temperature quickly. Once the engine is warm the thermostat opens allowing the coolant to run through the radiator and keep the engine within the correct temperature range.
This is most likely your problem.

it could be a fault with coolant thermistor or maybe the fans. check to make sure the fans are running

suspect faulty coolant temp sensor... or faulty display cluster... does the engine actually overheat??? if not its electrical... if it does, then look at thermostat and/or fans.... relays have a tendancy to stick....

change your temp switch on the engine mine did that changed it no more trouble usually green in colour right hand side top of the engine
