2002 Citroen Xsara Picasso engine cut out now truns over but wont start

Hi there im after abit of help please
my xsara has decided to play up.
I came out to it one moring and started it up from cold as normal and it ran for for 2/3 minutes then just cut out no splutter or coffin just cut out and when i tried to restart it the engine turns over but wont fire. iv disconected the fuel lines from the pump and the fillter and turned the engine over but it dosent seem to push any fuel thought iv also had it on a diagnostic reader on it but i was told that it dose not come up with any faults . any help or advice would be greatful

replace the fuel filter first
