2001 Citroen Xsara Picasso excessive fuel consumption and rough idling

my picasso is using excessive fuel (no leak) I only get 20mpg round town (if i am lucky). last week I put in £65 and have not even done 200 miles and down to one bar !!! also it is very rough when idling... has anyone got any ideas how to solve these issues ?.... only recently got car and put red-ex in when i filled it up to clean injectors etc. to see if this helped with fuel consumption but nothing

Unless you no its been done already, give it a FULL service and see if the problems persist.
