Headlight alignment

Since having n/side headlight replaced its alignment is too low and will not adjust using the vertical/horizontal adjustment bolts behind the headlight. They just turn and turn and nothing happens. The scroll control on the dash work fine. Anyone have an idea what may be the problem? Fingers crossed.

Sounds like whoever fitted head light hasn't hooked up motor for alignment .

Hi. The motor is OK as both headlights travel up/down when operated from the dash. The problem is aligning the near side headlight manually using the bolts situated behind the headlight.

Maybe the clips that hold the adjusters to the headlight reflector have come off or are broken.Just because it,s new does not mean it,s okay as these adjusters are plastic and easily broken.I would return it to the original repairer as they should have aligned the headlamp,It,s one of the basics requied when replacing a headlight unit.
