every time i start up the car a little spanner symbol flashers 100. but now it rises every week 800 flashing now ???

The spanner light usually means due for service. The 100 and 800 could be the miles the service is overdue, hence the number rises each week...

It is the service due light ,If you want to reset it try this .With the ignition off press and hold the button with all the '0's on (tripmeter reset button). Holding the button depressed turn the ignition on, the display will count down to zero then take your finger off the button .Might be advisable to get it serviced if overdue .
