2003 Citroen Xsara Picasso car suddenly slows whilst at constant speed, have code p1537

Whilst driving at a constant speed, it can be 30 mph, 40 mph or any constant speed, the car will suddenly slow as if you have taken your foot off the gas pedal. Sometimes it will pick up itself, but sometimes you have to back off the gas and then put foot down again. Although the engine light has never come on there is code P1537 stored in the computer
Can anyone please shed some light on this and suggest a fix

I have same problem I've changed fuel filter done oil change and oil filter added engine cleaner and injector treatment to a full tank ov diesel changed airflow metre blanked off egr valve pipe drives ok then all ov a sudden it slows like I'm lifting my foot off throttle I'm totally lost any ideas please someone 😡
