1996 Citroen Xantia dash lights

hi all i posted this problem but it seems to have vanished. the wife has a xantia and noticed that the volumetric warning light was on, green, so pressed it it went off but so did all the instrument dash lights no fuses have blown i tested the dash light dimmer and linked the wires still no go i cannot emagine all the dash light bulbs blowing at the same time so now i am at a loss were to go next has anyone got any idea what could be the fault ? thanks jem6210

Don't know much about that car and can only suggest you have blown panel bulbs for whatever reason . Especially after bridging switch and they still don't work . You could try here for more info. if you dont want to pull out panel bulbs for testing .
