Engine Cuts Out

2001 Citroen Xantia
Car: Citroen Xantia
Year: 2001
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
The engine runs beautifully. However--it cuts-out. I can normally re-start it after a couple of turns on the key. Then I`m off again and it cuts-out again.

This is an electrical issue---is it a crank-case sensor.? This time last year suddenly I could not start the car from cold.i The AA turned up and identified it as a loose crankshaft sensor -adjusted it and it was alright after that. Until now--a year later. Is it the same problem? Engine tends to cut out when the engine gets warm. Suggestions please.

You don't say what engine . Crank sensor is a possibility .
