1999 Citroen Synergie boot won,t lock

all the doors lock and unlock but the boot does not, put 12volts on the boot lock and it works, there is no power getting to the boot lock, do not know where the wires go from the boot

Do they not pass through into the top of tailgate ?

check wires in rubber trunking between tailgate and body for damage or breaks
