hi i have recently got a 1.9td synergie and was running sound then it started cutting out stalling so i checked battery then was replaced no it seems to be running but slugish and im getting a clicking sound tho ive left the indicator on ive also changed the glowplug relay any one any other that could be happing

Could be a clogged or dirty fuel filter...

Hi, I have a 98 2l petrol Synergie and have had similar problems, running fine but then suddenly cutting out on me (quite scary sometimes!) it also had a strange idle, revving up and down while just sat. After a bit of digging we found a fault with the ignition coil and after replacing it the engine sounded fine again. Unfortunately we have now got a random hose so she is undriveable again as we can't figure out where it has come from but hopefully my struggles will provide some inspiration for your synergie.
