1991 Citroen Synergie loss of power / acceleration

The car seems to have mimimum acceleration when going up hill and tends to lose power. Engine management is sporadically coming on, however i've checked the problem out with various garages and they can find no problem.

just a question further to your problem , have the garage that u took it to by any chance had a clean up of the sensors on enging , just something as simple may make a diference ,(sorry bout the bad spelling )

have had a similar problem with hdi2.0 diesel 2001 model after having the turbo changed very expensive what with labour over £700+ was told the waste gate valve aint working or is jammed shut ?turbo needs the air to operate. as to adjusting it!!!!!!!!, the guy bypassed this sensor by reorginising the small pipes which activate this waste valve the car zoomed these small pipes are situated in front of you when bonnet is opened why on earth this guy didnt bypass it first god knows i ainty a machanic so i cant explain fully but there you are good luck
