hi there having problems with my saxo vts, sometimes when i slow down for a junction/roundabout and dip my clutch and brake the car stalls itself this happened quite a lot the other day driving back from work and the engine warning light came on and then went off again about 4 times

just been in the garage today stalled on the way in but they couldnt get a reading from the system diagnostics, driving home car was fine just been looking in the engine bay and the air filter pipe was unhooked just before the filter

do u think this could be the problem that not enough air was getting into the engine? and help much apprieciated

any air leaks in the system will affect the way the car runs so if you have reconnected the hose then see how you go if the problem still persists then come back and i will try to help you with the problem but i cant see you having any probs if you have reconnected the hose
