When my vehicle is turned on my air bag light constantly stays on. Why is this?

Get it scanned and see what fault codes are shown .

Most likely to be a loose connection under the drivers side seat there is a cable which is prone to coming uncliped which causes the airbag light to come on. you can normally simply push the two back together. reconnect with the engine and ign turned OFF

If the air bag connection under the driver's seat is the problem is a air bag reset needed to get the light off again?
