There is a noise coming from the car after the engine has been turned off. My husband says he thinks it is from the power steering. Any ideas as it is still contining and, as I say, after the engine has been turned off. Thanks.

Not the rad coolant fan running ?

No. It is a higher pitched noise and just won't stop.

May well be power steering pump .

Could check fluid level of the electric hydraulic power steering pump though doubtful if it would cause this fault .
