1996 Citroen Saxo car doesn't start

Car: Citroen Saxo
Year: 1996
Variant: 1.1
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Recently my saxo has not been starting. The battery has been checked and is fine and the radio, lights , etc work. When i bump start the car it starts usually no problem so i have been told that it could be either starter or alternator. After it has been running for say half an hour it will start usually within a short period of time but overnite it never starts. is there any definite answers??

If engine is not turning over fast enough on start up and battery o.k , could be starter .Could check all starter connections and earth between engine / gearbox and body .Might be worth while getting battery and alternator tested , simple tests usually carried out free by most fast fit centres / accessory sores .Radio and lights dont take anywhere near the power the starter does on starting .
