My brakes squeak not all of the time but now and again. I have to break really hard to slow down and evenetually come to a stop.
Have never had problems with the brakes and new break pads were put in when I purchased this in October 2005

you need new pads by the sounds of it and if you leave it to long you may even need the discs aswell so dont waste any time get the car booked in asap and have the brake fluid replaced at the same time

saxo are none for there poor braking there just like the 106 u have to push the brake pedel down really hard as for the squeaking this is where the change in mosture cus ul notice in the wet it dosent squeak then wen it gets dryed out its squeaks am i rite ?

I would like to change my saxo's brakes to stop better,which brake calipers would suit? The front are 3 stud discs and don't want to change to 4 stud and can I fit disc brakes to the rear without changing the rear axle?
