2000 Citroen Saxo indicator lights work sometimes

This has only just started happening after 8 years. The indicator/hazard light works and then stops and then starts again, is annoying as they stop working just when you need to use them. Help

this could be a bad earth check there isn't moisture in the light casing or if there is like a white rust on the board that the bulbs plug into. if there is lightly scratch off with a flat head screwdriver that's what i did on my rear indicator. Try and it and see if it helps at all.
