2003 Citroen Saxo windscreen wipers not working

A week ago, the wipers stopped working on the 2 lowest speeds, but still worked on the higher 2. As of yesterday, they now only work occasionally and then only for a few seconds at a time, stopping in the middle of the windscreen.

Could be the relay , stalk or motor .I would start with the easiest / cheapest and replace the relay . On some the relay can be found behind the glovebox. Could pick one .up at scrapyard if you want to save money and verify if this is the fault
