we have a saxo vts on a p reg when the car is cold she wont idle until it is at running temp the car has a piperx filter and dcat could any of these be a problem?

i suspect you have a possible air leak. or throttle problem. check idle air control system. have the vehicle plugged in to try to narrow the search.hope this helps

before you do anything i would suggest that you get hold of some carb and injection cleaner and spray that in to your intake and this will clean up any carbon build up inside the intake and see how you go from there before doing any of the other things

check that all the fuses are ok had the same problem with a fiesta and a ignition fuse was blown car started and ran but as soon as i stopped at lights it would cut out give it a try good luck
