2001 Citroen Saxo reset sevice spanner

My car is over 10years old the spanner symbol is indicated as it has been before I purchased it, is the a manual way to reset this ie switch ignition on press throttle and press break pedal 3 times the switch ignition off and the back on which on some makes of vehicles resets the system

With the ignition of and keys out.
Hold down the button beneath the rev counter.
Turn the key 2 clicks.
Then you should see a countdown timer.
When it stops courting loose the button and problem should be solved.
