2006 Citroen C8 engine cutting out if drive over 60mph

engine would cut out then on the dash it would say theres a fault with the dpf.. we have had a new dpf put in and i have been driving the car around town for the past week but as soon as i went on the motorway and went over 60mph a warning sign on screen said depollution system fault. then cut the engine but the dpf icon has never came up just the car battery icon was on. what else could be the problem
