Power loss

NEW CAM BELT AND WATERPUMP, was driving in heavy rain hit a bit of water lying in road mins later chugging then power loss, car stalled at lights and continued with powerloss for a couple of hours NO warning lights or notices,strange right/pedal(Excl)seemed heavy,not responding. next day big bus chugged a bit but seems to have settled. anyone any ideas.

Probably just water over electrics which has now dried out and cleared .
