ABS Warning light on

2006 Citroen C5 VTI+
Car: Citroen C5
Year: 2006
Variant: VTI+

I usually get a message stating that the ABS is not working but there is nothing wrong with it. The warning light comes on at random and often stays on for a few days then goes off. It will then come on again on a sporadic basis and then stays on until it "changes it's mind". It is a software problem I think? Does anyone know how to fix it please?

You say that there is nothing wrong!. Have you had a diagnostic check to find any faults?.

this is not software issue look at the wiring under the arches make sure there are no cracks in the wires under the back seat there will be a round black gromet lift to revel tank there are 2 wires running either side if the pump and there is one under the dash aswell as i had the same problem and found the wire under the mear side wheel arch that was apart
