2003 Citroen C5 when i open the drivers door the boot opens

Variant: 2.0 hdi manual
When i open my drivers door the boot lock opens, it does not do it all the time but it is getting more frequent, has anyone had this problem before?

its possible that water has got into the boot release micro switch and this activates when the drivers door is open,,i sprayed w-d 40 on mine and ive not had the problem since
