2007 Citroen C5 rear suspension

When parked for about 5 hours the rear suspension lowers to the bottom but automatically raises when the car is opened or used - I also think there might have been creaking in the rear end when moving off about two weeks ago. No visible leaks. Any ideas please Michael.

does the car have conventional suspension struts or hydraulic?

I had this same fault last year and it turned out to be the rear Spheres that somehow were returning the fluid back. ( The car had no leaks.)
