2008 Citroen C5 gearbox working normal, then error message

Car: Citroen C5
Year: 2008
Variant: 2.0 diesel
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
2008 diesel 2 litre C5. Annual service and 3l gearbox oil replaced about 1500km ago.
Fault occurred only once, after about 50km motoring, gearbox stuck in D3. Messsage Gearbox oil ... (message disappears). Car turned off and back on 5 min later, problem gone at least for next 100km. Car has had all scheduled maintenance and is driven carefully, 200,000 km on clock.

There seems to be two options for changing , partial change uses 3 litres, and then the full change. Full change must be made with "flushing", so it takes longer to do and more expensive. Might want to speak to your service dept. and discuss the message you are getting .

Thanks for your suggestion. Will follow it up with my service mechanic who has the same model Citroen for his personal transport. Will update this thread once a solution is found. Finally, thanks again.
