Check brake fluid level in tank , check any wear indicator wires on pads for touching / breaks .
brand new set of front brake pads fitted with new sensor cables brake fluid normal had to screw tank top off as I screwed back pistons on calliper old shoes taken off were only half worn plenty of meat left on them all checked before wheels put back on tried resetting again today even disconnected the battery for 3 hours but service light still on and still showing worn brake pads run through the check control system on steering stem still no joy ? cheers for info
sounds to me like a wire has been trapped when putting box back in.
can not find any damaged wires but I would of thought the two warnings would be separate items the service light shows on my normal dash near my speedo and the worn brake pads warning is on the display in the centre of my dash board a separate screen thought they would be two separate circuits
The service light is coming on because of the brake warning light. it could be a faulty handbrake switch
