Citroen C5 won't start

Variant: 20lt diesel hdi auto
Model Year: 2003

Hi my problem is my car won't start I'd been out in it all morning parked it up for about an hour came back out to it and it won't start its turning over fine it fires for a split second but unfortunately that's it I had a mobile mechanic look at it but he's got no idea no fault codes coming up please as anyone got any ideas.

With these my usual first suspect is a faulty injector.
It needs an injector leak back test done.

OK thank you for the reply and suggestion I will have that checked out and hopefully that will be the problem.

Its possible that the cambelt tension is a bit loose so there is no synchronisation between cam and crank

Thanks everyone its fixed the problem was a faulty wire to the pump in the tank. Regards
