Although I have had new batteries installed in my car keys sometimes one of the keys will not operate the central locking system.I have been told that if one of the keys has not functioned for a long time it may need re-programming,how do I do that ?

if that is the case which im not to sure it is, to get your key re-programed is quite expensive more or less the same price as a new key fob from your dealer there are good and bad firms on the internet that will do it while you wait but you have to take your car to them along with proof that the car is yours there are also mobile techs that come to you but thats if money is no issue your mitchy

ps for got to say some times when you change the battery you put your key in the the lock then lock and unlock your car some time times this will synchronise your key try this first, good luck yours mitchy

Could try this .

1. switch ignition on

2. press and hold the lock button on the key for 10 seconds

3. switch ignition off

4. wait 3 seconds

5. synchronization complete
