Ticking noise from engine

When i start my car a ticking noise appears and stays on no vibration and no loss of power can anyone help

Sounds like its a tappet/wear on camshaft.
Big job to fix a little issue unfortunately.
Does the tick ever dissapear or is it always there worse when hot?

could be an injector seal has failed and combustion gases are blowing by it. Remove the engine cover and look for carbon deposits around the injectors

Yeah, possible. Also a crack or leaking manifold gasket. But they would all be noisier when the throttle is applied I would think.

Does the noise tap faster with the engine revs or does it get louder the more throttle is applied.
