A loud ticking sound is coming from the engine. Sounds like a very loud clock! When i start the car i have to rev it as it seems to be not getting diesel until its revved up. Please can someone help.

it sounds like you have an injector seal or two gone. Can you smell exhaust fumes under the bonnet?
