I haven't used my C5 for a week, Used the car this morning and found heating or fan heater not running,Checked fuses (40amp) not blown. Is there a known problem with C5 fan heaters............

If there is no power to the fan you could try the fan controller. This is a smallish black box in the driver's side footwell on the left, quite high up.

will the 2008 2.2 CITROEN C5 HDI 16V EXCLUSIVE report fan fault on self diagnosis. My car informs me of next service+NO FAULT, yet my fan/heating isn't working isn't working??????????

Did you sort this problem, as I have an identical fault with my 2009 1.6HDI C5 Tourer? I left it for 3 weeks and it was working fine. Got in it yesterday and the fan blower was not responding but the 40 Amp fuse was fine, the panel was all lit and there was no fault indicated on the self check system.

definatley heater matrix thing is very tricky to fix though right behind centre console
